Well what a three months its been. Just amazing Birmingham to Cape Town, driving solo in two old cars (17 years Citroen and 20 years old Toyota ) for 3 months without a hitch apart from the usual bureaucracy.

So much kindness on the way too from so many people but particularly from Julia Albu the owner of the Toyota I took back to Cape Town. She bought me a very special native African print Kilt made specially in Cape Town and then also surprised me by paying for my return flight Cape Town to Birmingham so I could surprise my wife and family in time for Christmas. What a special gift that was!

Thank you to Julia and all her family for their wonderful hospitality in Cape Town. I am sure we will see other again somewhere in the world.

I watched you in YouTube in your trip to Egypt I am from Libya, I love traveling like you.
I hope Libya becomes calm and peaceful to be able to visit it soon.
