Yesterday met up in Belgrade with my sons friend Michael Fullard whose family came from Serbia.

We walked over 8 miles and toured the fortress lying above Belgrade. It’s a beautiful and very.historical setting overlooking the Rivers Sava and Danube below. The museum describes the long complicated history of Belgrade and has lots of relics from history dotted about the place. It’s free to get into but you pay for the museum 200 dinas.

Great hostel at the moment around £12 per night very comfortable great staff and good facilities
